Event Title
International Cross Culture Integrated Design Workshop - 'Yunlin culture walk'

Event Purpose
"The 2023 International Cross Culture Integrated Design Workshop - 'Yunlin culture walk' aims to promote cross-cultural integration and explore the importance of social and service design. Through the joint participation of six schools from Taiwan and Japan, we hope to break down international language and cultural barriers, inspiring students' passion and creativity for design. This workshop places special emphasis on industry-academic collaboration, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the practical application of design in society. Through collaboration with industries, students will have the opportunity to apply their learning, providing innovative solutions that have a tangible impact on the community. We aim to cultivate students' abilities in cross-cultural communication and collaboration, enhancing their competitiveness in the field of design. Simultaneously, through the 'Yunlin culture walk' event, we aspire to bring together design students from Taiwan and Japan for mutual learning, creating more influential design works and contributing to social development and progress."

Social Innovation Perspective
Social innovation thinking is a perspective centered on people, seeking solutions to social issues. Through innovative thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration, the goal is to find effective and sustainable solutions, addressing issues such as social inequality, environmental challenges, and educational deficiencies. Social innovation thinking emphasizes resource sharing, fairness, justice, community engagement, and the use of diverse knowledge in fields such as technology, design, and sociology. It breaks traditional frameworks, seeks innovative strategies and practices, and influences social change to achieve sustainable development goals.

1. Cultivating International Perspectives
   Cultivating international perspectives involves expanding an individual's awareness and understanding of global affairs and cross-cultural communication. This perspective encourages individuals to move beyond local viewpoints, gaining in-depth knowledge of other countries' cultures, values, and social customs, while learning to appreciate and respect diverse perspectives. Through the cultivation of international perspectives, individuals can better adapt to multicultural environments, enhance their ability to collaborate with international partners, and become more competitive in the era of globalization.

2. Team Collaboration
   Team collaboration refers to a group of people coordinating efforts, leveraging each other's expertise and talents to achieve greater accomplishments under a common goal. Effective team collaboration promotes innovation, increases efficiency, and enhances a sense of achievement and cohesion.

3. Enhancing Logical Thinking and Integration
   Enhancing logical thinking and integration involves cultivating an individual's ability to analyze, reason, and integrate different viewpoints. This thinking style aids in problem-solving, making clear judgments, and effectively integrating various information and resources. Through logical thinking, individuals can rationally handle complex situations, make sound decisions, and play more significant roles in team collaboration. 4. Service Design
   Service design is a user-centric design approach aimed at creating better service experiences and solving problems. Service design emphasizes viewing service provision holistically and focuses on providing a consistent and high-quality experience at each touchpoint. By deeply understanding user needs and behaviors, service designers can create innovative services that are more valuable and meet societal needs, while also enhancing the competitiveness of organizations and businesses.

5. Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration Industry-government-academia collaboration refers to a collaborative model between the industry, government institutions, and academia. The purpose of this collaboration model is to promote the sharing of knowledge and resources, expand innovation capabilities, and drive the development of society and industry. Industry-government-academia collaboration allows for the exchange of expertise from different fields, accelerates technological research and application, and promotes the upgrading and transformation of industrial technology. This collaborative model also facilitates the scientific and practical aspects of policy formulation, making policies more closely aligned with actual needs.
