經歷

Born in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture, Japan in 1959. Graduated from Osaka City University and joined the company of design center named SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. in 1982. Established the company in 1986, conducted extensive design activities around the product, including the G Mark Gold Award, DFA Grand Prix, RED DOT BEST OF BEST, German Design Award WINNER Award, iF DESIGN AWARD GOLD, Social Products Award Grand Prize, etc. Awarded more than 170 in Japan and overseas. In addition, the company worked on OMRON's blood pressure monitor “Spot Arm” (2004) and Microsoft “Xbox 360” (2005) that achieved world record sales volume. The consortium brand METAPHYS, which was launched by our company, is planning and designing with its own book "Behavior Design Thinking Method", and it put into development to sales with many companies. In addition, involved in many production operations utilizing design as a regional promotion measure such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum New Traditional Crafts Production Project (TC & D), Echizen Brand Products Consortium (iiza), Tottori Products Consortium (TOTT). Besides, created word “social design” and committed to enlightening social design through holding eco products design competition 2007 ~ 2010 and social design conference 2011 ~ 2015. Books are “Social Design Textbooks” (Productivity Publishing), “Behavior Design Thinking Methods to Solve Problems” (CCC Media House), and “Kansei Potential Thinking Methods” (Productivity Publishing), “Bugtori Design ” (Asahi Newspaper Publishing).
